Go Hiking

Hi Everyone! Today I talk about my weekend, this weekend I with my friends go hiking. This mountain names is Crown mountain,maybe this name I forgot....My friend told me this mountain very famous in Vancouver.

 First, we take the skytrain to the waterfront. Then we need take the sea bus, this is my take the sea bus first time in Vancouver.  My friend told me this mountain is not very high, can easily reach the top of the mountain. But the reality is not like that, I think this mountain is very high, climbing to the top of the mountain is very tired. I asked what time can to the mountain, they answer always is be coming soon. But after 2 hours to get to the top of the mountain. Before, my friend told me only 30 minutes we can got. She lied to me, but when we reached the top of the mountain we are so happy! Because, in the top of the mountain have beautiful scenery and good food. We can see the whole Vancourver. Climb this mountain I am very tired, because this mountain very different before I in China climb mountain.

Finish hiking we go to the waterfront eat dinner, I saw a beautiful clock. Although this is a tired weekend, but I am very happy!

Happy Canada Day

Hello everyone, I will talk about Canada Day. Canada Day I go to the downtown, in downtown have many people, very lively.

In China have China Day, but very difference Canada Day! Canada Day very lively and have many activity, China Day is very serious day for Chinese.

I think Canada Day very good and special because Canada has a lot of people from different countries and have many different cultures. In downtown have many activities, there are a lot of people celebrating Canada Day.

In the night, I with Morris, Risa and her friends want to see the firework, so we together go to the downtown see the firework. But I with Morris want to buy some water, so we found a shop buy water. Then we met Mika and her friends, we together go to seaside see the firework. But when we back to seaside, seaside already has s lot of people security told us we can’t go to the seaside. So, we had to find other place to see the firework.

The fireworks after we ready to go home, we go to the skytrain station. In skytrain station has a long team. I think Canada Day is very interesting!Happy Canada Day!

Nice Volunteer Weekend

Hello Everyone,

Today, I talk about my last weekend. Last weekend, I with my friend go to the temple to do volunteer. My friend is Buddhist, so she doesn’t eat meat. Before, in China she usually goes to the temple. After a few days, there are some people who need worship on bended knees. So, we need pick up pine needles in the pine needles, because if there have pine needles people worship on bended knees will be injured. There are a lot of teenagers to do volunteer in the temple, and many children study for dessert. I think go to the temple to do volunteer is very good, because volunteering can let’s us calm down and seriously to complete one thing.

At noon, we go to eat vegetarian food. In the temple can’t talk when you eat, we need to chant Buddhist scripture before eat food. After we finished food, we went to a room listen to lectures.

Then, when we continue our work, have a mother with her daughter to come here and pick up pine needles with us. This girl very polite and lovely, she say hello to us. We are ready to leave, she and her mother continue pick up pine needles. I see she and her mother together working, I feel very warm.

I think the people in the temple are very friendly and kind. I think do volunteer is very happy, if I have free time I want to do volunteer again.

My Surprise Friend

Hello Everyone,

I’m Grace, today I talk about my surprise friend, and her name is Bonnie.

I came to Vancouver for two months. In Vancouver airport I met a come from shanghai Chinese girl. We are the same flight, she very friendly and I think she English is very good. Now, we became friends now. I think I my so lucky, because think Bonnie is a good friend. She helped me a lot, my English is not good, and she often teaches me to learn English.
One day, I with Bonnie go to the Metrotown. All of a sudden, a hornet flying until on my clothes, I am very afraid, she told me “don’t worry! Hornet won’t hurt you!”  But I am very afraid, so she let me take off my clothes, the she help me to take my clothes. I am very touched. I think she is my surprise friend, she is a kindness girl!

Hello Everyone,

Today, I am going to talk about Cmmunication Breakdown.
Now, I am a ESL student, my English not good, so I need study English very hard.

Before, when I sick I need go to the medical see doctor, but my English not well, so I can’t understand medicine words. Server told me I needed found a translator if I don’t have translator the doctor will be can’t see me. I am so sad, because I am very pian.
I think server was afraid I don’t know what the doctor said. So I go to the next medical.
I Hope impore my English, I will study English very hard.

Making Friends

Today I talk about “What are the best ways to make friends when you are in a new city”.

I came to Vancouver already 2 months.   If you just came to the new city, you feel nervous and boring. So you need make new friend with you together adapt to this new city. I first came to Vancouver very nervous, but I’m very lucky met a Chinese girl at the airport. If you just arrived, you need relaxed. If you want to make new friends in school, you should don’t be shy and keep smile. I think speak English is very important, you need speak English with your new friends. So, you need study hard English when you came to English county.
